Inkwell considers privacy and online safety for you and your children all-important and wants you to understand how personal information is collected and used and how you can protect your privacy when you use Inkwell services.
Cookies
Inkwell collects information in order to provide and enhance services offered users. This information is collected through cookies, small text files on your computer that identify your browser and store certain information. The collected information varies based on how you use our service. By using this website, you agree to Inkwell’s Privacy Policy and use of cookies.
If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers’ respective websites.
Services without Registration
To visit or use Inkwell’s website, you do not have to identify who you are or provide any information that would reveal who you are. Our web servers collect visitors' domain names, not e-mail addresses.
Measuring how you interact with this website content helps to improve its quality. Google Analytics may use cookies to store information about your preferences as a website visitor—for example, user-specific information such as which pages you access or visit. We may also retain search information that you enter on our site.
When you submit a comment or contact form on our site, you may be asked for your name and email address. Your information is encrypted as it transmits from your browser to Inkwell's web server so that your personal information (PI) is not intercepted by third parties. The server collects the data shown in the comments form and also your IP address and browser user agent string.

Third parties with whom Inkwell transacts business may use some of your data to service Inkwell's needs, but Inkwell will never sell your information to third parties. The information you submit is used solely to respond to website inquiries or comments.
Services with Registration
Inkwell collects personal information (PI), such as name, e-mail address, phone number, etc., about you and your students through its registration forms. In addition to the use of cookies as described above, when you voluntarily provide us information, your registration automatically subscribes you to our mailing list. When you register for our services or participate in our website features, such as newsletters, surveys, etc., the PI you provide may be used in the following ways, unless stated otherwise:
-
It may be stored and processed to improve Inkwell's understanding of your student’s learning needs, provide services tailored to those needs, facilitate billing, and improve our products and services.
-
Inkwell may communicate with you via e-mail, postal mail, or by phone--per your preference--or as we deem necessary or advantageous.
Inkwell will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those set out in this Privacy Policy.

Should you wish, you may at any time request that Inkwell destroy any record of your PI. At any point, you may also unsubscribe from Inkwell's mailing list.

Students under the age of 18 who request services of Inkwell must be registered by or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Inkwell does not sell or market directly to minors and always seeks the appropriate authorization whenever we identify a minor attempting to purchase a service. Whenever Inkwell collects students’ PI, it does so with the sole purpose of supporting the educational purposes for which its website and services were designed.
Notwithstanding anything in this Privacy Policy to the contrary, Inkwell may disclose PI (1) as required by law or to defend against legal claims; (2) to protect the rights and property of Inkwell English Education; (3) to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding intellectual property, illegal activities, fraud, or the safety of any person; (4) to resolve disputes or to investigate problems; (5) to maintain service and improve our website, products, or services; (6) to help diagnose problems with our server, to manage our website, or to enhance our website based on the usage pattern data we receive.
