Inkwell English Education, LLC Policies, Terms & Conditions
Inkwell English Education (Inkwell) maintains a website, which is updated periodically. To obtain the most current information, please visit Inkwell’s website at https://inkwelledu.com.
Inkwell provides tutoring, electronic document services, learning camps, and classes to students of all ages. To receive any of Inkwell’s services, parents or legal guardians must first complete a registration form for each student who is not an adult. After registration, students who are at least 13 years old may request specific Inkwell services for themselves. If children aged 13 or older affirm that their parents or guardians approve a service, Inkwell will usually accept the word of those minor children. In situations involving billing, Inkwell may contact the responsible adult prior to providing a service. Inkwell neither knowingly accepts registrations from children nor solicits business directly from them.

Login and click on TEACHERS in the menu bar to view profile details. To notify Inkwell’s office manager, email [email protected] Inkwell’s office manager works only part-time, so please allow plenty of time for messages to be retrieved and responded to.
Since caller IDs and email addresses do not identify you readily, we don’t know who you are and what you want unless you tell us clearly. Confusion easily arises because often students’ and parents’ last names are different, and we sometimes have more than one student with the same first and even last name. If you write an email, send a text, or leave a voice mail message, please identify yourself, your student’s first and last name, your assigned teacher, and pertinent specific information (like the date and time of a scheduled service) so that we can handle the message properly.
Inkwell’s owner and CEO is Karen Boniface. You may contact her through the Teachworks portal or by email at [email protected] Any postal mail should be directed to the home office:

Doc Service Request:
Once registered, submit a Doc Service Request on Inkwell’s website to receive document services. Go to the Services tab and select Document Services. The request form is linked on that page. Since the details of your request are specific to a particular document, you will need to complete a separate form each time you request a new service. In the request form, you will specify what type of service you require.
Inkwell provides three types of document service and support to fit your needs. These virtual services are provided through Google Docs for college admissions essays and typical school or college assignments of non-technical subjects only.Services are billed in advance by the unit, which covers up to 250 words. If you prefer in-person service, you must register instead for private tutoring, which is billed by the hour. These services are offered electronically for typical school assignments of non-technical subjects only.
Coaches are project managers who also edit and proofread your document. They support the entire writing process or any phase of it from planning to the final presentation. Purchase of a coaching unit includes up to one-half hour of personal reading, review, and consultation by phone or Skype, two edits of versions of your document, and proofreading of the final copy. It is the most comprehensive service.
A coach will arrange an initial consultation to explain the editing process andanswer your questions; discuss project requirements, priorities, and due dates; plan and establish a workable timeline to complete the project on schedule; brainstorm ideas; and strategize how to develop and organize those ideas. Consultations included with writing coaching are conducted live by phone or via Skypeso that needs and expectation are clear. They are scheduled by Inkwell’s Office Manager and appear on your student calendar, and dates and times scheduled are strictly observed. If you need to reschedule a consultation, you must reach your assigned coach at least 24 hours in advance to make alternative arrangements. If you miss the consultation call or Skype session, you lose that part of your document service unit, and you will have to reschedule for an additional fee. If you wish to consult via Skype, you must provide your Skype ID on the Request for Doc Services Form.
In order to allow for turnaround of a project by its due date, you must follow the timeline planned during your initial consultation, especially the scheduled deadlines for the three electronic submissions included in your coaching package.
- The 1streading evaluates your paper’s strengths, suggests changes for improvement in its content and structure, and identifies concision techniques and possible text to cut in order to adhere to a word limit. You then revise the paper accordingly.
- The 2ndreading evaluates style and the success of initial revisions, offering further recommendations. Once you have completed your best effort on the paper, you submit it for a third and final time.
- The 3rdreading is a proofreading, a brief check for typos and errors in grammar, spelling, mechanics, and format, with suggested corrections for you to make.
If further service is required for a project, additional editing or proofreading fees will apply. If further service is required, it must be purchased separately. Expedited service is not available for coaching.
Coaching is a good option if you are inexperienced with managing long-term projects, confused about what a writing assignment is asking for, unable to generate meaningful ideas on your own, or just more comfortable with being fully supported so that you can ask and receive answers to questions.
Editing is a mid-level service that includes a single reading of a paper only. Editors are reviewers that judge the strengths and weaknesses of a paper. They analyze its focus, content, organization, and tone. Editors try to ensure that a paper will meet the goal of an assignment effectively within the targeted word count. Looking at it holistically, they evaluate a writer’s ideas and methods of delivery. Their suggestions focus on how the document could be improved by adding, deleting, changing, or rearranging content. They do not check documents for technical errors in things like grammar and punctuation. Though they may make some general comments about the mechanics of presentation, their main concern is WHAT is said and HOW the message is communicated.
No email, phone, or Skype support is included with editing. Editors will post comments in Google for you to consider making changes to improve your paper. You then use their suggestions to revise your documents. Editing is a good option if you have strong organizational, grammatical, and mechanical skills but you want an unbiased perspective on the merits of your draft. Expedited service may be available on a per case basis.
Proofreading is a light service. Proofreaders are checkers who inspect a document to be sure it is ready for submission. They focus on the mechanics of presentation, making sure that everything is complete and correct. They do not evaluate a paper’s ideas or organization, although they may recommend an editing service first if it seems warranted. Proofreaders suggest changes to fix errors in the following areas.
- grammar and usage
No email, phone, or Skype support is included with proofreading. Proofreaders will flag suggestions in Google for you to accept or reject. It is your responsibility to understand and implement these suggestions. Proofreading is a good option if you are a strong writer confident in the merits of your document’s content, organization, style, and length, but you want another pair of eyes to catch any minor mistakes you might have missed. Expedited service may be available on a per case basis.
Submission of Documents:
Drafts of Word document files may be uploaded to the Request for Doc Services Form along with directions, writing prompts, and any applicable grading rubrics. You must plan ahead to allow sufficient time to accomplish your goals. In order to provide the level and extent of services outlined above, a document must be submitted with enough lead-time for Inkwell to give it thoughtful consideration. We cannot accommodate your last-minute emergency.Expedited service is available only on a limited basis with an upcharge.
Inkwell is not an essay writing service and does not support plagiarism. Inkwell provides services with the understanding that the document you submit is your original work. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions equates to a declaration that the work you submit is solely yours and that you take responsibility for it.
It is important for you as a student to learn how to apply rules and writing principles to correct your own mistakes and to develop the analytical skills needed for making effective rhetorical choices.Inkwell coaches, editors, and proofreaders will offer suggestions only, posting comments in Google. It is your responsibility to consider their suggestions carefully and to implement them in a manner consistent with your vision of the project and your stylistic preferences. We will not write, revise, or re-write your paper for you.
Fees for Services:
Services are charged in 250-word units that are based on the final maximum length of your document. The reason charges are calculated on the final length of a paper is so that you will ignore word limits initially and instead “write big” to allow good ideas to surface in your rough draft. See Inkwell’s website for current fee schedules.
Invoices and Payment:
Invoices for document services are generated after you register and complete a Doc Service Request. Invoices must be paid electronically. For your convenience, a link to pay online is provided with an invoice. A document service will not begin until payment is received.
Limitation of Services:
By submitting a document for service, you represent that the original work is entirely your own. Inkwell assumes no responsibility for your plagiarism, whether deliberate or unintentional. Inkwell respects that all projects submitted should reflect and remain the your own work. Because it is important for you to learn how to apply rules to correct your own mistakes and to develop analytical skills needed for making effective rhetorical choices, proofreaders and editors provide feedback and make specific suggestions only. They do not make changes to or rewrite your paper.
Inkwell makes reasonable attempts to stay on schedule with projects; however, if you submit documents late, we cannot guarantee on-time completion. Neither can we refund any portion of a payment for a project that is late or uncompleted through no fault of our own. You must take responsibility for adhering to submission cycle deadlines. We will honor our deadlines and do our utmost to overcome any power outages or disruption of Internet service or unexpected difficulties that might arise, but we shall be held blameless for things beyond our control.
Inkwell does not guarantee the quality of your final paper. Coaches, editors, and proofreaders exert their best effort to guide you to produce your best work. Rather than perfection, Inkwell’s goal is your understanding, progress and satisfaction with our services.
