I believe that every student can succeed academically. The key to success is to discover a student’s learning style and adapt curriculum accordingly, using a variety of methods, such as object lessons, games, memory aids, stories, art, and practical applications.
During my years of teaching secondary English, creative writing, and several elementary grades, I instructed a variety of students with different strengths and weaknesses and unique learning styles.
When I am not teaching English, I enjoy my hobbies and taking walks with my husband, Ron, and our adorable — and slightly spoiled — chihuahua, Chico.
